A lot of my subscribers probably know me pretty well, but I thought I would share some facts about myself so you can get to know me.
I don't like to travel. It makes me very anxious. Most people want to see the world but I'm too scared.
I have O.C.D. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). My obsessions manifest as intrusive thoughts, checking things and excessive cleaning. The intrusive thoughts are the worst to deal with because its always an awful thought that plays over and over.
My favorite holiday is Halloween. I start decorating in September. When I was younger I won the Irvington Halloween Festival Costume Contest 7 times in a row.
I played violin from age 5 to age 15. I wasn't very good but I enjoyed it and I learned a lot.
I love McDonald's cokes!! They are my favorite treat! Or Old McDonald's as Charlie calls it.
I don't have any tattoos and don't plan on any in the future. I don't like anything enough to put on my body except my kids and they already left their mark.
I had 2 emergency c-sections with my kids. My water broke at 36 weeks with Charlie and he was Frank Breech. Cora made my blood pressure crazy.
I have a phobia of white condiments especially mayo ( I gagged just typing that).
Sometimes I think about having a third child (WHAT!!! Am I crazy??!!) but I have had my tubes removed.
My favorite is 80s music! I love me some Toto!
I have an MBA in Finance and Organizational Leadership which comes in handy working for a financial planning firm.
I was in a music video in 6th grade. It played on tv and everything. My school won for best music video in a contest between schools. A professional crew came out to film it and jazz it up. We even won free K Swiss shoes.
I like to recycle and have been trying new sustainable options for cleaning and such. Worrying about the planet stresses me out!
I want to write a book and I have been working on it but I am having tangent issues.
I did the Superbowl Shuffle with Refrigerator Perry at a hockey game.
My daughter Cora did roll of the couch a couple of times as a baby but she's fine. Mom fail!
My husband Jim and I are 10 years a part in age.
I like to read trashy romance novels. They get me every time.
I am a dollar store junkie. I love that you can go in and splurge and only spend $20. I love their seasonal decor!
